| Cat
grooming by a show professional
Don't trust your cat to just
anyone. I have over 36 years experience grooming and showing
CFA and ACFA Grand Champion cats who have garnered Regional and
National honors.
Our styles include: |

Chuck and Judi
with Glory Be as she is awarded the final win to complete
her Grand Premiership title. |

Glory Be poses with some of the award our cats have won. |
before and after ....

"Summer Shortie"– the coat is shortened
(not shaved to the skin) all over the body. Undercoat may
be thinned out in addition to trimming. This is a great year
round look for low maintenance. |
before and after ....

"Peekaboo"– the underbelly is shortened
and blended into longer fur along the back. This style gives
the cat the appearance of being full coated, but simplifies
maintenance of matt-prone belly and rear pants areas. |

"Show groom"– available for discriminating
owners ... and patient cats.
|

Shorthair cats –Some shorthair cats
have very dense undercoats and shed more than their longhair
cousins. Professional grooming can help their coats stay healthy
and reduce shedding during seasonal coat changes. |

Our
philosophy on shave downs...
We believe a severely matted cat should be treated by your vet
to lessen the stress of dematting and ensure there are no skin problems
under the matted hair. Please contact us to help you maintain your
cat's coat a few months after a full shavedown.
By personal choice, we do not shave unmatted
cats, but prefer to do a "summer shortie" style
that is easily maintained by the owner and not embarrassing
to the cat. Shaved cats can also sunburn easily or have an
allergic reaction to household cleaning products because their
skin is unnaturally exposed to the environment. |
